Our staff at Villa Buena Onda has been with us for many years, and our Chef Gabriel is not an exception. He has been with us since 2009.
Chef Gabriel has vast experience ever since he started his cuisine career in 1994 in Ocotal, near Playas del Coco, Guanacaste. Starting as a steward that year, Gabriel learned about pastry, bakery and also molecular gastronomy. In 1998 he became a cook, then a sub-chef. He was the expert with salads and cold dishes. Eventually, he continued his development as a Chef in the hospitality industry in 1999.
Today, with more than 20 years of experience in cuisine and 9 years with us at Nya Restaurant, his specialty is international cuisine and he loves shrimps.
