1. Do you offer wedding packages or full planning services?
Yes! You can choose from pre-priced wedding packages or bring your own custom vision— You can select one of our wedding planner partners and we will forward. There is one contract with the venue and one with the wedding planner.
One per person price for the 3-night stay and one for the wedding and reception.
2. How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Up to 80 guests on-site.
Villa Buena Onda has 8 luxury bedrooms. There is a 3-night minimum stay that is all-inclusive and secures the venue and lodging needs of the wedding party (up to 20 guests).
3. Can we have the ceremony on-site or at the beach?
Either. There are 3 breathtaking beaches within a few miles.
Many couples choose our tropical gardens or right by the pool for the ceremony. The receptions are all at the villa.
4. What’s included in the cost?
Our all-inclusive villa covers:
• Multiple gourmet meals by a private chef
• Open bar with bartender
• Daily housekeeping and concierge service
• Pool, lounge areas, full service spa, and more amenities
Wedding-specific services (Event F&B. décor, music, coordination) are priced separately via your planner. We provide a few choices, or you can use any planner.
5. Can we customize the wedding menu, style, and décor?
Yes, everything is customizable—from the food to the floral design to the music and cake. You’ll work directly with a wedding planner to bring your vision to life.
6. Do you work with local vendors (photographers, florists, officiants)?
We do! Our planners know the best vendors in Guanacaste and will coordinate everything on your behalf, from the officiant to the DJ. Each bride can choose planner for the right style and fit.
7. Do you provide accommodation for guests?
Your private villa stay includes up to 20 overnight guests. Additional wedding guests can be hosted at nearby partner hotels, condos and villas—we’ll help you coordinate.
8. What’s the backup plan for bad weather?
We have indoor and covered outdoor spaces available in case of rain, and all décor and timeline plans include a Plan B. You’re in good hands. Guanacaste is the driest region in Costa Rica but we plan for the worst.
9. Do you offer any special bonuses or extras for wedding stays?
Yes! We offer free airport transportation for those staying at the villa. Additionally, we have other specials for those staying more than 3 nights.
