Palo Verde National Park protects over 33,00 acres of land and is known for its ecological diversity, preserving wetlands and providing refuge for a myriad of wildlife. Board a covered riverboat for a two-hour cruise along the slow moving Tempisque River and see the mangrove swamps and marshy lagoons that are home to monkeys, crocodiles and one of the greatest concentration of waterfowl and shorebirds in Central America.
