The villa comfortably accommodates up to 20 overnight guests. For the wedding itself, we can host up to 80 attendees. Additional guests can stay in nearby luxury villas and homes just minutes away, and our concierge team can assist with booking accommodations.
Villa Buena Onda is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR), making travel easy for international guests. Despite its accessibility, the villa feels completely private — nestled just outside the beach town of Playas del Coco.
For most weddings, especially those with more than a few guests, we highly recommend working with one of our trusted local planners, such as Marianella Murillo or Heidy Quesada. However, smaller and more casual weddings may not require a formal planner — our concierge team is happy to assist with logistics.
Yes! Costa Rica allows both legal and symbolic ceremonies for foreigners. If you’d like a legally binding marriage, your planner can help guide you through the required documentation and process. Many couples also choose to complete the legal paperwork at home and host a symbolic ceremony in paradise.
Yes, in addition to your villa stay:
