Located in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, Villa Buena Onda brings farm-to-table philosophy to life through a diverse selection of tropical fruits and garden-grown ingredients. Many of these are harvested directly on-site and incorporated into daily meals, creating a truly fresh and locally inspired dining experience.

Tropical Fruits You’ll Love
Mangoes – Sweet, juicy, and rich in vitamin C and vitamin A, mangoes support immune health and add natural sweetness to smoothies, salsas, and desserts. Season: March – June.
Guavas – Fragrant and tangy, guavas are exceptionally high in vitamin C and antioxidants. Often used in juices, jams, and breakfast dishes. (peaks Feb–Mar, Aug–Oct).
Passion Fruits (Maracujás) – Tart and aromatic, passion fruit provides fiber and antioxidants, commonly featured in cocktails, dressings, and desserts. Year-round.
Starfruit – Crisp and refreshing with high vitamin C content, starfruit is hydrating and often used in juices or as a vibrant garnish. Season: September – February.
Rambutans – Sweet and juicy with a delicate texture, rambutans contain vitamin C and iron, making them a refreshing snack. Season: July – October.
Soursop – Creamy and tropical, soursop is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, often used in smoothies and desserts. Season: May – October.
Avocados – Packed with healthy fats, potassium, and fiber, avocados are used in salads, spreads, and traditional dishes. Season: July – October.
